OUR ROOTS
SAN DIEGO · EST.2022
GOB didn't have a starting point. Three kids from San Diego who ended up in each other's lives and never really looked back. Beau, Preston, and Kealan. They skated, they surfed, they fished, they rode dirt bikes and mountain bikes, all of the above probably had signs saying not to somewhere they were doing it. Desert, snow, surf trips, late nights, hazy mornings, anything you can think of thrown in somewhere between it all. Prime Southern California living and they squeezed every last drop out of every moment.
They threw parties on Wednesdays because nobody told them not to (someone definitely did). Beer would appear like magic. Nights that started at someone's house and ended somewhere none of them planned to be. Coming in off the water a little tipsy before first period, skating the second the bell rang, and somehow by Friday night they were packed into a car with no real destination and every reason to go. The kind of freedom that only exists once — and they burned through every last second of it.
That was GOB before it had a name.
We lost Preston in May 2023. We lost Kealan in May 2025. Two people who packed more living into their years than most manage in a lifetime. The kind of people who walked into a room and made everyone in it feel like they were exactly where they were supposed to be. Those people were Preston, Kealan, and Beau. The kind of people who don't get replaced. They get carried.
Preston drew the brand by hand. Kealan was the production team, Beau had the business mind. Three kids hustling something representing their friendship, story, and lifestyle; "Good Ole Boys," the brand was alive in spirit way before anyone called it anything anyway — no designs, no website, nothing but the three of them and whatever came next. This is the physical proof that it was all real — that those nights happened, that those people existed, that it was exactly as good as it felt.
Wearing GOB isn't a fashion statement. GOB is beyond a brand. It is embracing the imperfectness of youth, to fully experience, and immerse in the present moment across all times of life. Our time we have as humans is short, we've seen first hand how it all can flip upside down in an instant. However, with these moments, what we've learned is there's no sadness, no hurt. Just the realization that the present is what we have, the past has happened, and the future is uncontrollable. There's an art in being present in the moment, embracing the questionable decisions, late nights, and stories you still can't fully tell. The memories and times you have being solely present in your current moment are the times of bliss, peace, and remembrance. They are the times you cherish forever.
This is for anyone who has ever had that. A different city, a different crew, a completely different version of those years — but the same feeling at the end of it. The simple grin that crawls across your face before the thought even finishes itself. Memories that still don't feel real. The kind that made life worth showing up for.
GOB isn't something you put on.
It's something you already are.
Built by Pavle and Beau.
For Preston. For Kealan.
For everyone who was there.
